HOW TO GET
Currently OMO Malvasia istriana and Refosco are bottled once a year in spring in a second year following harvest, after 18 months of ageing. Timing of bottling benefits from natural stabilisation of wine during two cold winters and suitable natural cool cellar ambient temperature for bottling in spring.
Malvasia is then released after one to two months in bottle, while Refosco remains for at least an additional year in bottle before release, depending on specific vintage ageing requirements. That kind of approach will follow in future, but this means limited amount and time of availability.
Current production is just couple of thousand bottles a year and as much as I would always like to have more people getting the OMO wines, it means that finding it will require a bit of effort. Meanwhile, I would like to remain focused on winemaking, leaving the sales and distribution to my regular partners and guaranteeing them the highest quality of wines and their yearly allocations and reservations. Because of that OMO wines can be found exclusively through specialised wine distributors and shops, as well as selected fine restaurants and wine bars throughout Croatia.
